Summer / Fall 2011

In the spring I decided to fix up my road bike to be able to use. It started out with deciding that I needed new tires, and given the spots of rust on the wheels I figured it made sense to get new wheels. After getting the new parts home, the bike looked even worse. Since I no longer had the paint that matched the bike, it was going to require a sanding and a repaint... The more I looked at it, I decided it would be best to have it sand blasted and then do a custom paint job. Thus the photos below. Overall not bad for a bike that was a box of parts that Dad and me put together years ago and redone this year.
